bored with the TWA

My hair is in it's awkward stage and i cant seem to find anything to do with it besides wash n gos and twist outs. I tried twist but my hair doesnt seem to hold them well. Does anyone have some ideas to get over this boredom i feel with my hair. Im open to just about anything.

How about smaller twists? Bantu knots? Or maybe a protective style? You tube can give you plenty of ideas for TWA's and different styling options...
I transitioned for about 10 months and only have been natural for aout almost 3 months...So Im fairly new to this also and learning everyday

When I got bored with my twa I started wearing scarves, and half wigs with scarves covering the front of my head.

Wearing small twists for a few days and then a twistout for a few days jazzed my style (and kept me from manipulating it too much). When I get bored with my wash and gos sometimes I'll do a few simple flat twists (I can't do two strand flat twists or cornrows yet lol) in the front of my hair and then slap on my trusty headband. Makes me feel like the style is a little different.

Also you might want to try a coil-out. I haven't done one yet but I've been meaning to.
