My lil sis put some kinky twists in my head. She did a good job being that it was her second time doing kinky twists so now I'm like the billboard sign for her services, lol. I'll probably wear them until December. Til then.....Lucy will be MIA. Here's the last known pic of her.

Wow Tashafawn! Your hair has grown so much!

I don't believe that the challenge is almost over!
This challenge alone really inspired me and kept me going! I may do a curl street in the near future, if I have time to do one.

I did a length check - 4 inches! (sorry no pic, will get round to it!)
In November, it will be a year without the creamy crack! I don't believe it!

I went to a natural hair care class last night and it got me so inspired! It really helped me because I was able to do 'hands on' work with a teacher there! Definitely gave me ideas for styling, practice makes improvement!

Thank you Curly Nattie! This challenge went by so fast! I don't know what happened to the regulars though Hopefully, everyone is doing ok!
A natural hair class sounds really fun, I had no idea that those existed! LOL!

Oh Yeah! I found the natural hair class from a community learning center in Philly called Mt Airy Learning Tree. The teacher owned her own salon and it was so much fun because we were all 'rookies' who were transitioning and just became naturals.

Just turned the big 34 today! Woo hoo! Here are a couple of pics of me with the fro! One with my daughter - her hair is down to her lower back now! I don't believe it. I think going natural had a lot to do with it because it helped me figure out which products to use for her hair and mine!

wow. i have definitely been MIA from this challenge how is everyone doing?

i know it's been a min since i been up in here but here is my lil progress from jun until now

Awesome growth, Marhia! What have you been doing with your hair lately?

Hey Ladies!!! how's everyone? I straightened my hair a few weeks ago and got a much needed trim. I went to a salon that specializes in natural hair. I had my first hydration treatment (steamer) and it was great. I suffered NO HEAT DAMAGE!!!

I was so concerned about that but my curls popped right back into place. I wore it straight for exactly one week and washed it out to make sure I had no damage.

My church celebrated it's 25 Pastorial/Church Anniversary and it was a black tie event so I got to get all dressed up lol. It was like going to the prom lol.

Hey pretty lady, your hair has grown wonderfully! Looks like you've slimmed down as well...good for you!

I was wearing two strand twists for awhile and twistouts, and I just took out micro braids that I left in for a month. Now i'm going to be 3 strand twisting my hair for awhile.
