Desired lenght

How long do you think that you need for your desired hair lenght?

I'm hoping in 5 year, a long time... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I am on a 5 year plan as well. I just started on 9-9-09. It's at collarbone length but I want it to grow as long as possible.

I'd like to achieve a nice even Bra Strap Length (BSL). I think a year & a half (maybe) would do it for me. I'm about 5-7 inches away(in a correctly fitting bra!).

If I reach that maybe for kicks I'd see if waist length was possible lol

I am hoping for curly BSL and my guess is that it will probably take me another year since that means I have to be tailbone straight. I've been on this mission since 2007. I had to transition to natural and then BC first.

I am aiming for BSL straight, which should give me shoulder length curl. I hair is already a handful so the extra length may not last long

Curly a BSL... Now curly it is a bit over my shoulder, and straight to my BSL. I really hope it will grow fast. When I was pregnant it grew 3 times faster as usual! And my hair grows faster in the summer and since I stopt straighting my hair...

2 year for the lenght you got now? That is pretty fast in my opinion!

I would like to achieve shoulder/collarbone length with my curls. Right now, depending on how stretched my hair is, my curly hair is probably neck length, but when straightened, it is collarbone length. I reeeeeallly want more length while my hair is curly....if that was the case, I would never, ever straighten, as I don't straighten as much now anyway!

So what have you ladies done to achieve your curl length? What has really made your hair grow like none other???

I'm there! I don't desire anything longer than a chin length bob...i like it for my face, as well as for the volume! In order to achieve the look, my hair is between collar bone and mid back length. Any more than that and I'd be reaching for the scissors!!!

That was me a few months ago. I would cut off an inch every time it tried to grow, lol. Now I am just being curious, I know the extra length won't last long.

I would like for my hair to become BSL again. I cut it off when I did my BC. It is now to shoulder length when straight and chin length when curly.

Right now my hair is collar bone length when curly and I'd like to grow it back out to mid back length (curly). I'm assuming 2 years but I can't do the math right now lol!

I would love to have arm pit length curly hair that is HUGE. (I'm talking Diana Ross, forget Godzilla here comes HAIRzilla[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.], huge!). Right now it's about ear length when curly. I've just switched up my routine to be more winter friendly for my hair and so far it's working pretty well, maybe the change will kick up the growth. I'm not sure how long this will take (my hair seems to be stalled at the moment), but I'm willing to wait as long as it takes. If only there was a fast forward button, but alas the grasshopper must have patience.

My hair was mid back but I cut it to a inch above the shoulders and its grown back. Its a lil pass the shoulders now cuz I cut it again. But I'd like mine to grow back to the mid back. It grows fast soooo it prolly take me a few months if I keep my ends cut.

I want my hair to be shoulder length curly, and BSL straight. I'm about an inch away from APL straight. I'm hoping I will be BSL in a year, by December 1st 2010.

It does take time, once we all get a hair routine, we should see results. Slowly but surely!

Im on a five year plan too. my hair shrinks a lot in twist it touches my upper neck and the sides a little pass my ears i have not yet observe my hair with out twist. my goal for it to touch shoulder in curly state not sure how long that would be and poss. mid back straight.

My hair is about APL and I want to see if I can get to WL after that I'll probably cut it to MBL/BSL or just chop it all off. I think I can reach BSL by sometime next year and WL in the next 3-5 years. Dang that sounds like a long time [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .

I'm wanting that kick-a## below the buttock length hair like tightly curly coil are AKA Teri LaFlesh. Well I figure in 10 yrs it will be that long if I keep my hair healthy and 10 yrs isn't that far away for me since I lived 50 yrs already and it will be yrs #3 come July 2010. Can't wait til 2017, it will be a celebration of 10 years of being natural, 10 years of hair length and of course 10 yrs older. I dare say it. LOL
