So I figured I'd give this journal thing another try. I kinda fell off before. The hair is growing nicely, and I'm actually able to twist. The twistout turns into a fuzz ball so I take advantage and pick it out as much as I can to wear a fro. I like it, I'll have to check and see if I have a pic to post.

I and now in love with YTC!!! It makes my hair feel like butter! I've also been co-washing my daughter's hair with it and it just melts tha tangles. I'm 4 1/2 months in and 7 mths post relaxer. Yaay me, I thought I could never live w/o relaxer.

Right now I'm rocking a w n g/braidout. I braided the crown to stretch it and used my Miracurl Curling Gelly around the sides and back to give me some shape. I love it.

Hey Crissy, did u see my post in the challenge thread? I use Miracurl Curling Gelly now for my w n g's. It's much better the ECO, plus I get like 4-5 day hair.

Hey Curlieque!!

Love your hair color!! I've been hearing nothing but good things about this YTC.....might have to try it. Everytime I see it in Target, I stop and caress the bottle for a few minutes, then I put it back down when I think about all the other conditioners and shampoo's I already have in the closet.

I need some help ladies. I find that when I do my twistout it always looks fuzzy. is it just because my hair is so short right now? I try not to separate them too much but it just doesn't look good to me. I don't have any pics cause I was so disgusted with it. I just recently started using Koils By Nature Herbal Gel to twist. But I've tried Bee Mine Curly Butter, ECO, and a few other stylers and it always turns out the same. Maybe I just wait until it gets longer.

Funny you say that becuse i tried a twist out and I did not like it. i was thinking the same thing, maybe my hair is too short? My coil outs look much better, so I stick to those or now.

Do you use a leave-in under your stylers and also when you take them down do you make sure that you have some type of oil on your fingers which will help prevent frizz

I've been using SheaMoisture condish as a leave-in and I use coconut oil when I take them down. Maybe I'm separating tooooo much. I try not to have my head look so scalpy looking if that makes sense.

How long do you leave your twist in? When I had a TWA, I had to leave in a few days to get a decent twist out.
