Styling Issues

What styles should I try to grow my transitioning hair (6 months). PLease keep in mind that my hair is fine and wont hold any style. HELP!!!!!!

My best suggestion for you is try a wash n go. If you use good products you could do a twist on your hair. send a picture if you can so i can see what type of hair you have, there may be others who have similar hair and can offer you suggestions!

When I was transitioning, the best styles that worked for me were twist and curls (two strand twist set on rods). Also, my staple hairstyle was braid out. I would take a non-alcohol wrapping lotion (by B&B) and put about 7 cornrows going back. Let it day, then take it out and wear it crinkled. That would last me for a whole week. Any type of curly style is best for transitioning.

What products are your using?

I have been transitioning since 9/09 and I have fine 4a/b hair. My hair loves protein and moisture. I use only Giovanni products and seal with shea butter and EVCO. I style by either braiding/plaiting my hair in 10-12 sections and rolling the relaxed ends on straws or I use Curlformers.
