Hi Serenity, Loving your twistouts! How do you refresh your twist the next day? My hair is finally long enough to twist/twistout and I am unsure how to refresh it. Do u retwist @ night? Do you wet it to refresh it? HELP ME PLS! I've been natural for 7 mos. now, so my hair is alot shorter than yours. I would love to know how to keep the twist looking good for days. My avatar is old and i need to update, so ignore it.

Hey Cococurly!
For the most part I don't do anything except put a bonnet on and go to sleep. If the front bang area starts looking frizzy or puffy the night before, I'll just grab that and do a few twists, but I don't use any product. For next day hair, I rub coconut oil in my palms and just pull and fluff my hair up. Hope this helps.

Hey Ladies!
Unfortunately I'm not at the beach. My son got sick and I'm back in Charlotte with him. He has something called hingles. So there's little bumps and blisters all over one side of his body. He went to the dr. Tuesday, but he has another appt today. Looks like the rest of my vacay will be spent taking care of him. So say a prayer for us!

Hey Divas! How are you? I got a gentle reminder that I hadn't updated my curl journal in a minute. I have been focused this past month on healthier living and that has really conssumed my time. I pretty much wear twists Mon-Fri and out on weekends!

I'm kind of itching to do a rollerset or updo to switch it up. Maybe i will do that this weekend. I also picked up a new Carol's Daughter prod that I may try out soon. Here's some photos I took this weekend before and after church. Hope all is well w/you guys!

Thank you Chrs! He's great. He has some scarring on his thigh. But I have some stuff to hopefully clear it up. He's back to normal.

Hey Serenity! I haven't been getting down the road as much lately but wanted to stop by your page. Your hair is beautiful as ever; that color... just makes me so envious! i'm going for it soon- likely in October or November! I'm sure your son is all better by now. Shingles is no fun for kids or adults.

I love the recent pictures they are too cute. i hope the little one is doing better. I took some photos similiar to those at the playground with my husband and his lil sister and brother.

Hi Serenity - just passing thru. I'm glad ur little man is feeling better. I love ur hair. I have to revisit doing twists - I'm a puff girl right now - so simple and easy and little to no manipulations for at least three days sometimes longer.
