Since my bc 10.31.2009, I had been using Shea Moisture shea butter leave-in and liked it but kept hearing good things about Cantu shea butter leave-in. Cantu was $4.99 as opposed to $8.99 for the Shea Moisture so I decided to give it a try. I used it today for the second time and it's okay. It leaves my hair soft but I am tyring to get away from using anything with cones in it. I saw beautiful curls today at Whole Foods for $7.99 and it has really good ingredients in it and it's very thick and creamy which my hair loves. Has anyone used it and what do you think about it?
Thx!!

Ditto everyone else. I'm still transitioning, but I use it in my kimmaytube leave in and I use it on my one year old daughter's hair. I love, love, love the way it smells and how soft it leaves my hair! And I love how creamy it is, a little bit goes a long way.

I have not used the products yet. I purchased the Curly/Kinky products - Shampoo, Leave In Conditioner, Curl Activator and the Curl Reviving Tonic after the Atlanta meet up with Curly Nikki. I will be taking my twists out soon so I am looking forward to using these products. I am just hoping that my hair will like them all.

Ok I used the Leave in Condish and curl activating cream (for curly/kinky) hair. I did a cowash with Tresemme Natural Moisturizing condish, detangled with Avalon Organics Olive Oil and Grape seed Extra moisturizing condish and added the leave in and curl activating cream straight out the shower in sections. I really liked how I let it air dry, may hair did not get big and poofy. My curls were really defined. At first I thought it was going to hard as it dried but once it was 80% dry, it was not dry to the touch. I did notice it did not look moisturized but actually looked pretty dry. I added some grape seed oil and argan oil and it looks more moisturized. I did my pineapple and will see what happens tomorrow to see if I can get 2nd day hair!! I think this may work for my wash n gos!
