ButterQueen wrote:Hi Everyone, hope everyone is doing well. I have in the works something that I am sooooo thrilled about. It has troubled me since I started on this 'hairyuveda' journey how one of the most popular oils is based in mineral oil and has some other ingredients I'm not too thrilled with either
Couldnt figure out why so many unnecessary things could taint what would be a totally beneficial hair product.
Okay so what the heck am I talking about
AMLA OIL, honestly the only recommendations for it (until now, heh heh) have been as an oil rinse or pre-poo or some such treatment that would be rinsed of, never an oil thats really suitable (for most of us) to use as a moisturising hair oil to be left on because of the (ick) mineral oil factor.
So what did I do, I studied and studied
and asked questions of the Indian doctors and scientists who know this stuff and came up with this (drum roll ;-)
An organic amla oil based in virgin organic oils like sesame (oh and I have so much love for this oil , sharing coming soon), olive, and castor oil. Along with organic (yes organic, i'm so happy!) Amla, Pure Rosemary and more all natural good stuff.
Nothing artificial, no green artificial coloring or synthetic fragrances just the good stuff- the bomb ya'll (lol) Only the best...we deserve it:D
WATCH OUT FOR FREEBIES COMIN AT YOU SOON
WOWZA!!! Way to to run a situation down Queen! Thanks for the research. Looking forward to the product!!

Re: Hairyuveda Challenge
Wooo hooo! Looking forward to the new amla oil. I'm using my Amla Gold for oil rinses and pre-poos, but I'd love to try the all organic one
My hair has been thriving using all of the aryuvedic products. My hair is stronger, shinier, and I don't need as many products to maintain it. In love

I am also excited about the organic amla oil! I have a whole bottle of amla oil that I dod not use because of the mineral oil and the fact that hubby hates the smell-lol!
Hey BQ! How are things going with the little bun in the oven? Hope all is going well:) I keep stalking the site to see if you have the maka oil back in stock-I am cafefully rationing out what I have left. Let us know when you get some in. A big THANKS for all you do!

Re: Hairyuveda Challenge
Hey ladies., Just wanted to say hello. I do have twists in my hair right now so not much happenening now. (Too many letters huh?) Anyways, great job onthe amla oil Butterqueen, I was using it to pre poo over night and loved the results. The smell was bit much, but I got used to it for one night every few weeks. I can't wait to see my curls again. Hopefully, I will last a few more weeks. Well with all my running around, I pretty much have to. Pro- it is easy to get up and go, Con - i can't touch and play in my head. Maybe that is much needed.....
