@tiashauntee- Striving by Dave Hollister is my jam right now , even though it came out a while ago.

Mary Mary's new cd has SuperFriend and God in Me

Kirk Franklin's This is It, Brigther Day, Lookin for You, Revolution and so many others

JMoss' first CD has good work out songs too.

Also if you go on itunes there are already gospel music mixes in the podcast section for free!

I woke up with this song reverbing through my mind.

Not Like Me
Deon Kipping & New Covenant

(Spoken) Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if God was just like you? Everything you did God did? Everyone you hurt God hurt? And everyone you gave up on God gave up on? It should make you appreciate the fact that He is nothing like you; that His love is unconditional and that His grace and His mercy it endures forever. I have to tell you about this dream

Yesterday I had a dream
That the God I serve was just like me
He treated people real bad
God was sitting right there
He was acting just like me (2X)

Yes, Yes, I pushed people away
Yes, Yes, I watch some go astray, Yes I did!
Yes, Yes, It was hard to believe that God
He was acting just like me

What if God was one of us?
Would He lie like some of us?
Testify like some of us?
Crucify like some of us?
What if God was one of us?
Would He lie like some of us?
Criticize like some of us?
Oh, What if God was one of us?

What if God was one of us?
Oh, Would He lie like some of us?
Oh, Criticize like some of us?
Oh, What if God was one of us (2x)

What would Jesus do? (3x)
If He was just like you?
(4x)

Adlib. What would Jesus do? Oh oh oh. That is the question that runs thru my mind. This the question that I ask.
What would Jesus do? If He was like you .What would He do. Oh oh oh oh if He was just like you
What would Jesus do? You wear it on your arm and you wear it on your shirt. You got it on your car on your desk at work. This is the question the question.
What would Jesus do? You wear it on your arm and you wear it on your shirt. You got it on your car on your desk at work. This is the question that I ask you.

So glad that He is not like me
He's the healer of every disease
Even when I fall down
His hand is always stretch out
I'm so glad He's not like me (4x)

How have I been missing this thread?!? I love Casting Crowns!!! I saw them in concert ( with Kutlass) last months and after the concert, in the streets, hundreds of people were singing the " Woah-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh, We'll sing until the whole world hears." It was nice. But yes, I love that CD. I love all God glorifying music, from gospel ( especially Donnie, Darwin...) , to christian rock( Casting Crowns,Kutlass),to contemporary ( Avalon, Selah), and even dabble in Phillips, Craig, and Dean ( who sound a little bit country). But my favorite FAVORITE group has to be Hillsong. I Love Hillsong!!!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

And..... I just found out that Dave Hollister was singing gospel. ( I dunno where I've been). But from what I hear this song is pretty old--> He had a verse on a one of the "Grateful" ( Hezehiah Walker) remixes. That song messed me up royally on the way to school the other day ( in a good way )

Just got WOW Gospel 2010 and I'm lovin' it ladies! These are my new faves from the first CD:

Donald Lawrence & Co. - BACK II EDEN ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] )
Kirk Franklin - Help Me Believe
Hezekiah Walker & LFC - Souled Out

I also just started listening to an artist by the name of JAVEN and I love his music. The Lord is truly using him. I bought 2 cds after a preview he did at my church. I've only listened to one so far, but it's awesome - more of a chill/intimate worship cd. I've been falling asleep to it every nigt since I've gotten it.

Check him out @ www.javenonline.com or on myspace.com/javenonline

So I can NOT believe Im just now seeing this thread!! I have SOOOOOO many songs I love for so many different reasons. It really depends on what mood I'm in and what I may be going through at the moment. I listen to EVERY kind of christian music if it sounds good and speaks to my soul.

My list is literally ENDLESS! I know a few of you mentioned Lecrae, and Trip Lee. Don't you just love the 116 clique? Most of them have a fan page on FB if your interested. I LOVED how Tripp Lee quoted ALL of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 in "Looking For Love".

As of lately I've been listening to Fred Hammond ALL the time. I've always loved his music but on occasion i get in the mood to hear his songs incessantly! LOL Idk, He is so sincere in his worship music and his concerts are even better. So he's been on what? REPEAT Lol!

Oh btw, keep your eyes open for a couple of artist up and coming: Laura Wilson who's collaborated with Mali Music and Shelea Wade who use to sing back up for Yolanda Adams. Trust me on this they are FIRE!!!

That's cool! My husband and I saw him minister at my sister's church in Florida, bought his cd after service, listened to it the whole drive back to CT, and then went YouTube crazy listening to anything we could find by him. It's good stuff Wink

I got Marvin Sapp's new CD last week. It is awesome.

Also, Maurette Brown Clark...The Dream. Love it, especially I'll Praise Him; I Have Decided to Follow Jesus; My Heart Has Been Restored; Sovreign God; It Ain't Over; and Has He Done Anything for you. As you can see just about the whole CD...lol. It's my go to in the morning for my commute...gotta get my mind right cause folks try to take you there.
