Just Wondering... Empty Just Wondering...

Post by naturallychelsea 8th February 2011, 7:56 pm

So I have started to really take care of my hair as I have joined the kim coles challenge. After twisting for two weeks my hair was super shiny. So I decided to twist again for two weeks. Twisting the back was good but I noticed that it was different but I could not pinpoint the difference. After twisting the front I finally figured it out. My entire head of hair had become looser.

The front of my hair is already quite loose and therefore difficult to twist but my last twist session was quite laborious. So what were the results? Twists which hang lower in the back and twists which barely bind in the front.

Has anyone else noticed hair loosening after caring for their hair?

I wear my hair in twists/twist outs pretty much all the time. I won't say my hair has gotten looser but I have noticed it stays stretched better depending on how long I leave them in, whether they are completely dry, etc. Is it looser when wet or just when dry?

I only do my twists dry so that is what I am comparing. The back is still stretched which also surprises me as by now they should have shrunken up. Anyway I was just making an observation.

P.S ambitious your hair is gorgeous love the curls

Aaawww... Thank you! that was like 3 or 4 day hair! Very Happy

You may want to try twisting on damp hair and see if that makes any difference.

No I have never tried it. I figured that taking better care of my hair getting rid of all the shed hair and trimming my hair made it like that. But I'm still so excited that my hair health is increasing.

Thnx to all the lovely ladies on this forum.

I know that loosens the curl pattern....so it's not that.

::looking at your ticker:: Congratulations on 3 months natural! Wink
