wow u didnt even go a whole month!! see thats why i cant spend my money on braids n weaves cuz i'd get bored too fast. wig shoppin is so much more FUN!! i got like 4 on my wishlist too, lol.

ur curls are lookin great though, i agree cut the sides so it'll give u some shape n you'll be straight. im gonna cut my sides one more time before lettin it all grow back in.

This month, well sometime this month I will celebrate my one year natural anniversary. The funny thing is this, i am turning in to a PJ, I have bought so many things, and I dont know how to use them. I see them advertised and I say I am going to try that. Well I received my curls souffle today and I dont know the first thing to do with it. I guess I will be You-tubing it up tonight. Isnt it too late in the game to become a PJ?

Within this year, lets see what I have learned:

Birds chirping


O, ok! That I do not have the patience or the time to deal with alot of natural hair.
I have thin, highly textured hair (I like saying that)
the back grows at a faster rate than any other part.
The front needs extra TLC
I have shrinkage out of the world. if i stretch my sides, they will come below my jaw bone. If I let it go, it pops back up to my scalp


Thats it for now, have any of you used the curls souffle? If so how did you like it?

I guess this is part 2 of my journey. I have taken some pictures of the mini BC. I am liking it a lot. I think I am going to do a black rinse in hopes to get rid of the gray.

Yes i do like it. You know I have been on a rollercoaster about my hair, and yes this was what I needed. When it gets warmer, I might take a little more off. Less is better for me

I'm liking your new cute. Looks really good. And I'm with you on the rollercoaster. After my last little trim last month and 1 year anniversary, I'm now focusing on letting my hair do it's thing and ride with it.

And we're together, along with many others I'm sure, on the PJ train. I have so much crap I have purchased, never used, or partly used that is just sitting in my house - ridiculous. I'll get around to those products at some point I guess.

yes sweet, I did a black rinse. It covered up the grey really well.

I love the new cut and I'm glad that you love the style! I think we each have to figure out what we want individually as far as styles and length. I've also been thinking about doing a rinse because I have gray strands that will not go away Anywho I'm happy that you found something that you like as far as your hair. TTYL.

hey sis, thanks for stopping by. At this point in my journey short hair is best for me. because I have a 2 year old and a 10 year, they both require attention. With them, I really dont have time for my hair. Short hair allows me to wash and go, quick and simple. As they get older I will try to let it grow out more, we will see.
