I agree, it may be the friction of your ends against the bonnet. I've had that happen too, be it twists or an outstyle. Like everyone else suggested, patience, water, conditioner and a good oil.
Have a great day!

@sweetdrk1 and ladymika It was a process. I had to use so much conditioner and oil I thought it would never wash out. On the bright side, my hair was left feeling really soft, lol. Next time I'll re-twist at night. When my hair was shorter I didn't have these tangling problems. *sigh*
@intelligentbeauty Yep, I'm coming to the meetup

Re: Neems-- I Got A Compliment, From a Guy!
I'm really beginning to think my hair hates winter. Ever since I could could and dry it's been doing teh snap, crackle and pop routine. Even my pre-poo with coconut oil, wash, conditioner, moisturize and twist seal doesn't seem to work. Below is what I did last night. . Hopefully that will strengthen my hair and stop the breaking and snapping that's been happening. Now if I could only figure out the best protein treatment that wouldn't dry out my hair. I so close to buying all these new products including Qhemet AOHC.
So I washed my hair last night with last night with Giovanni 50:50 Shampoo and conditioned with the 50:50 Conditioner. Then rinsed. Before washing I detangled by hair and put it in sections. I did a final cold water rinse with water and apple cider vinegar.
My hair still feel a bit dry after I washed everything out but I know it takes time to correct moisture/protein probelms. The coils, since my hair is not curly, clumped together but the ends snagged A LOT. I used the Giovanni direct leave-in to two-strand twist my hair and sealed with Vatika oil. Gosh, I really don't want anymore damage. Oh, did I mention a section of hair broke off in the back?

Hey Curlies!!!
Long time no speak. Between my basement slightly flooding, helping my dad with some light construction, doctor's visits and work I haven't had much time to update ya'll. I'm currently wearing a two week old twist-out. Well, it looks more like a big powder puff on top of my head. Once I go outside I'll try and snap a pic.
Anyay, yesterday I went into Staples to pick up a couple of things. Oh my goodness, I need to stay away from technology stores. If only I could afford an iPad 2, Macbook Pro and a Kindle, life would be good, lol.
So I asked a sales guy for some help because I couldn't find anything I wanted. The store layout is terrible, but that's besides the point. So as I'm asking about tech specs on a webcam, the guy completely interrupts me to say my natural hair is sexy.
Usually, I would brush it off but I wasn't feeling too well and the kind words, even if he was trying to flirt while on the job, made me smile

Doesn't that just make you day when men compliment you on your hair!!!
I hope you didn't have too much water damage in your basement. So I've been a little MIA myself, but have you posted any pictures lately? No pressure...LOL
