So, how do you like the KBN line?
Thank you! I get the best definition on my braidouts when I do them on wet hair. I love the products I've tried from the KBN so far. I've tried the leave-in, the butter and the gel. The ingredients are really good and I will definitely repurchase. With the butter you only have to use a little because its really moisturizing. And it seems that she always seems to have some type of sale on the products or a special on the shipping.
I just missed her free shipping sale. I will have to wait until July now that I made that big purchase from Oyin.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Thanks Sweet, Nubie and Lynnie!
@Nubie I did forget to list my regimen and favorite products
Currently my regimen is I usually wash once a week on the weekend. One week I use a shampoo bar and the next week I will use a non-sulfate or mild sulfate shampoo. I deep condition once a week and I try to do an ayurvedic mask on my hair every two weeks. Currently I use Amla, Brahmi and maka.
My go to style is the braidout. I will replait my hair every other night. On the nights that I don't plait my hair I wrap my hair in a satin scarf or bonnet and fluff the next morning. By the end of the week my hair is usually stretched and loose and I will sometimes pin the sides up or pull it back into a puff.
Favorite products: I can admit that I am a PJ and have tried a little bit of everything but my faves are: Qhemet's AOHC and BRBC, Jane Carter Twist n Lock and Nourish and Shine, Koils By Nature Shealoe leave-in and the hair butter and gel, Afroveda Shea Amla (a lot people hate the smell of this but I actually like the smell) and the Pur Whipped Jelly. These are stylers I currently use and will repurchase.
Conditioners: Aussie Moist, Elucence MBC, TJ's TTT, Curl Junkie Hibiscus and Banana Deep Fix and Curl Rehab, AO White Camellia, Giovanni SAS, Sheamoisture leave-in and KCKT. Also I use castor oil to seal my ends when plaiting my hair.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Chunky braidout is nice and CHUNKY.
Very cute! How do you like that Shea Amla from Afroveda? I need a substitute in case I run out of shea butter and can't get more right away.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Thanks Lady Mika! The Shea Amla is really moisturizing and the texture is smooth and creamy. The scent is Franinscense and Myrrh which is a strong earthy scent and a lot of people don't like the frangrance but it doesn't bother me because it doesn't linger.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Welcome krazycoils..(such a cute name)
I'm a little late, but that's really good cause I got to read and see pictures that I would have missed about two days ago. There are so many people in the neighborhood that I get a little lost, and forget who's house I've been too.
Your hair is beautiful...thick, and your braids out are to die for.
Honey you give that double and triple strand twist a run for the money with that definition you got going on!!!
I will not lie and say that I'm going to try THAT style.
I am going to be realistic and realize my hair is just not that thick, and I will NOT have the same results!! LAMS (laughing at myself)
Anyway...glad you are here and look forward to following your journey.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Here is a picture of this weekend's hair. I planned to do a curly fro but it didn't work out since my hair just didn't do what I wanted it to do and instead I just pulled it back with a headband.

Yesterday was wash day so I used my Afroveda Shampoo bar and deep conditioned under the steamer with Giovanni SAS. I used KCKT as a leave-in and Jane Carter twist and lock to plait my hair on wet hair for a braidout.
Here is today's hair. I didn't remove the plaits in the back so the back of my hair is pinned up.

Re: Krazy Coils,
No new hair news today. But I have been thinking of doing some type of protective style for retention. I have seen good growth and I would like to get better at retaining. I usually take my hair down the day after I have plaited it.
I would like to get better at twists and try to leave them in so I am thinking of putting some twists in my hair. I tried them twice before and I did them too big and on wet hair so the shrinkage was crazy. So this time I am going to try them on either damp or dry hair and try to make the twists smaller. Since I only have to work half a day tomorrow I will try this style out. Hopefully this will turn out right.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Ok so today I did my twists. I took my time and did not try to rush and get it done. I also made the twists smaller. I used Afroveda Shea Amla and Pur Whipped Gelly to Twist. My texture is a lot looser in the top than the rest of my hair so for those who twist and have multiple textures and leave the twists in do you have to retwist the looser textures daily?

Re: Krazy Coils,
Your hair is so pretty. Especially the braid out pics. I'm not a good braider so I just sort of stick with twists. Now I'm going to have to LEARN!! I have been inspired - Thanks!
