Handmade Hair Accessories

Post by NaturalChica on 24th March 2010, 3:44 pm

Hey ladies!

I love to make some of my own hair accessories (especially since most of the ones I like in the stores are overpriced! lol). Here are a couple I have made and a tutorial on how to make some on your own!

Fabric Flower Hair Accessory & Pin

Feather and Beaded Clips

Feather Headbands

Do you make some of your own hair accessories? I would love to see what other ladies out there are coming up with : )

Thank you for posting this! I've been trying to figure out what to do with my fabric scraps and buttons for the longest. Once I make some I'll post my pictures.

Jamaica curl your products look great. I wish I had the patience to crochet like that. Here's a picture of a flower brooch that I made using scrap fabric and old buttons. I'm working different types of flowers so I can spruce up with office clothes wardrobe. Now if I could only find hair pins that don't snag my hair, things would be great. I see that you're on Etsy, how do you like it for selling?

Thank you! I wish I knew what to do with fabric! Crocheting is so relaxing to me. Yes, I'm on Etsy and I like it. This is my 2nd time having a store on Etsy and it's going better this time because I'm much more informed on how to market. I also have a facebook fanpage with a storefront that is working out well too. www.facebook.com/thisnthathandmadeaccessories
