I used to use the gel for the first few months and now I use the juice. I just like the consistency better and I felt like the gel was leaving too much build up for my liking. I like the juice better but she does it with gel in the video and either will work I believe!

Can you use this mixture on transitioning hair? I feel like my hair after it is styled doesnt like to be "wet" and will lose the style.

Umph wrote:I found an Aloe Grow recipe from another blog, it's basically the same (aloe vera gel, oils & water)...

1.5 cups aloe vera gel
1 cup water
peppermint oil, sage oil, eucalyptus oil - about 5-6 drop each

I can still feel the effects of aloe grow on my scalp Shocked I sprayed it on last night... It reminds me of the Dr. Miracle products (more like Dr. Crap but that's a whole other story lol)

I hope I get great results!

I'm going to add vegetable glycerin to the mix... any idea how much I should add?

Great tips. I'm only on my second month & I'm doing long term transitioning. I've always had long hair so I'm hoping my natural hair will be too !
