Re: Cherry: extraordinary!
Well just make me feel bad....I've technically been an adult for 18 years and some of those things are still on my need to change list..lol
I'm just kidding I don't feel bad at all. I do think you are ahead of most people your age. There is nothing wrong with being a forward thinker.

girls night!
Hey everyone! I havent been up here for a couple of days so time for some updates
My hair is getting longer so i decided that its about time i practice with protective styles. So on friday I washed and steamed my hair then my sister helped me flat twist it. So thats pretty much all thats going on with that. I also have some pictures for you all!
The dyed hair is still a sandy brown color.

. . .and you can see my new growth clearly through it lol but i dont think i will dye my hair again soon. im curious to see how itll look when it gets a little longer.

As for life: last weekend i went to a Mary Kay consultation for my sister and after the sales-lady taught us how to put on the make-up i was amazed at how different i looked. So much to the point where i convened my mom to buy me some make-up lol. She caved in and ended up buying me a facial cleanser set and some foundation so i had to buy my own make-up; and i did today when i went to the mall with my sister!
And my brother is staying over his friends house for the night and my mom went on a weekend get-away with her boyfriend so my sister and i have the house to ourselves.
we did our nails, got dressed up, and experimented with the make-up. Afterwards we got into our pjs and watched Dinner for Schmucks (hilarious!) and ate icecream and popcorn. It was really fun!
I even took some pics of the make-up. im not super talented enough to post it in the make-up thread (which i do in fact stalk from time to time lol) but ill leave some pics here

it was a pink to black smokey-eye with silver glitter liner in the . . .inner corner of my eye (what is that area called exactly?
)
anyway, pretty good for my first time, eh?

I think it looks good Cherry! Keep experimenting with it and you'll get better. If you want to play around with more colors, I'd suggest Wet N' Wild. They have awesome products with great pigmentation that are relatively inexpensive...

Compulse Buy! :0
Hey you guys! Guess what? I dyed my hair again
Yesterday I asked my mom if she could take me to Target so i could buy some hair products. I found everything i needed and since i was in the hair products area i passed by the hair dye and started looking at them. Of course looking at them made me want one so i asked my mom and she said it was ok
.
So i picked up three boxes, light golden blonde, dark brown, and a red one and asked my sister to help deliberate. Since i had a brownish color the last time, i put that one down, and since my mom was going to dye hers red, i put that one down. Blonde it is!
went home, dyed it, DC-ed it and ta-daaa! blonde(ish) hair (apparently "light golden blonde" translates to orange against my skin tone
[well i suppose i could try a toner] but i digress.)

(my hair is slowly growing out of a twa)

and while im up here make-up pictorial!
my things:

eye-shadow colors used:

Step 1: I dabbed the fuchsia(A) color on my upper lid
Step 2: I smeared it upward with a small brush
Step 3: I repeated step 1& 2 with the pink glitter(B)
Step 4: I dabbed black eyeshadow(C) on my upper lid
Step 5: I pated the black with my finger
Step 6: I kept patting until it faded into the fuchsia (you can see how faded it gets in step 7)
Step 7: I (attempted to) put on black liquid eye-liner
Step 8: I pated the liner with my finger so that it blended into to the black eyeshadow
Step 9: I added a tail
Step 10: I tapped the white eye-shadow(D) into the inner corner of my eye, then repeated with the silver glitter (E). I also lined the inner corner of my eye with a silver glitter liquid eye-liner then applied mascara (I should have broken step 10 into 4 steps oops lol).

If you look at the pictures in my post somewhere up there ^^^ you might notice that i also put the black eye-liner on my bottom lid. (im still experimenting with that)
