Help I'm a Lost Newbie Empty Help I'm a Lost Newbie

Hi, i'm Yaya(not from America's Next Top Model)lol. I decided to go natural in June 09. I live in hot and humid Texas and its hard for me to find a stylist who knows natural hair so i decided to get braids. Can some of my natural sisters answer some of my questions?
Does anybody know any products that will define natural curls?
Has anybody ever used Boundless Tresses and what did it do for your hair?
Will henna elongate my curls?

I plan on cutting my relaxed ends a year after my relaxer which is June 10'. How long did you trasition and how did you feel afterward?

I know its alot of questions bu i want to attain as much knowledge as possible before i do the big chop and play with my beautiful hair.

I can't answer any of your questions but i know there are a lot of posts on here which probably already do....you kind of have to sift through them (that's what I do whenever I need more info about something)....I've been transitioning for almost 14 months because I love my bun but I plan to BC in the summer of 2010

Good luck!

YaYa, what part of Texas are you in? I may be able to suggest some stylist if you are in the Houston or Dallas areas.

Will henna elongate my curls? Not necessarily, some henna users find it does others do not. I have used henna a number of times and experienced no elongation.
