To my ladies in New York City

I'd like to whip up my own mixture like everyone else, and I'd like to get some oils. (jojoba, castor, avocado etc) But I don't want to spend a lot of money in whole foods for them. I heard (at the meetup the other day) that there were some indian stores that have the oils cheaper?? Can someone direct me where to go, preferably in manhattan and not in Brooklyn lol.

I get mine from a local health food store. I'm not sure which lady found a indian store that sells them. If you pm me a discription of the lady, I can email her to ask the question.

I get a lot of my oils from GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe. If want something "exotic" like Avocado or Hemp Seed oil, I go to Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn (across from the mall and P.C. Richard's. There's a short row of Muslim-owned shops that sell oils as well as butters and soaps.

Edit: you said not in Brooklyn--my bad. A few ladies here mentioned going uptown to Harlem for their goods. Hopefully they'll chime in.
