I have type 4c hair. I just want to know what every ones experience was on these two products.

I just purchased the UFD Curly Magic and used it a few times over the last week. It gives my 3c/4a hair a wet look but it has done nothing for my frizz. My hair also felt kinda dry and crunchy as the day went on but I'm not sure if it's the gel or my hair not being moisturized enough. I haven't tried Donna Marie's miracurl gelly yet so I'm interested to hear other people's experiences also.

So far, one girl has say that DM hold's better than UFD so that's what I am going to do is try the DM.

UFD does define but I want definition and frizz control. Unfortunately, I haven't found a product yet that does both for me. I hope the DM Miracurls works for you.

I've been meaning to try Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic for the longest, but haven't gotten a chance to yet! I watched some reviews on it on YouTube and most people seem to love it! I hear it is great for defining curls. I hardly ever wear wash-n-go's anymore because I haven't been able to find anything that's great for curl-defining (that's not too expensive), so that's why I was going to try it out! You should try looking up some YouTube reviews on both of the products to give you a visual. I will say watching the UFD reviews definitely made me put the Curly Magic on my Hair "Wish List".

I agree with mimismom. If you are seeking the "wet look" then UFD is the way to go. It was a little to wet-looking for me but it elongated my curls more than my fave--KCCC.

Well I live by the UFD Curly Magic for my wash in go's. It replaces the Kinky Curly Curling Custard for me. With a light leave in and the curly magic on top I dont get much frizz on my 4a layered thin hair. The curly magic isn't really a twisting gel in my opinion. Think of it as a slightly thinner Eco Styler Gel. Hands down the Curly Magic tops the Eco Styler and the KCCC, for me.
Now the Donna Marie is more of a custard type gel and would give you better results than the UFD's. If you have ever used Eco Styler to make a custard (eco styler plus 2 oils and a dash of leave in) then that's what the Donna Marie is.
UFD - wet look, similar to KCCC but not as crunchy and easier to work with
DM - Nice gelly for twists, has more of a custard type effect.
I have done videos for UFD on my YT channel but I'm still working on my DM products. I'm using the super butter cream for a few more weeks before I post it. Im not liking the smell of it, like a coconut coffee smell.
