Did my own...three weeks ago. At first I was in shock, because I couldn't believe that I had just cut off all of my hair. Went to bed got up the next morning, did a wash & go. And I have not looked back.

Congrats! I personally think your chop looks great! I'd never even considered that when I do my b/c anyone other than myself or my sister would be doing it!
I'm so glad I don't have hair scissors! If I did, I'm sure I would have chopped by now!
