My dog & Cassia melt
So, this is slightly off topic, but...
My terrier mix will eat any food items left within his reach when we're out of the house. Therefore, we've gotten quite vigilant about not leaving any food within his reach.
This evening, I'd left a Cassia Melt from TheHairSheBang sitting on my nightstand. It was out of the fridge because I'd almost used it yesterday, and hadn't returned it to the fridge when I decided against it.
Well, when my husband and I got home, we discovered that my dog had eaten about half of the melt. I quickly looked up all the ingredients, and confirmed that they wouldn't harm him (although cassia, which is a type of senna, is a laxative, so we're being extra attentive about taking him out). My guess is that the melt contained enough food items--oils, spices--to convince him that it was food for a few bites.
Anyway, I guess the possibility that my dog might try to eat my products was an unexpected hazard in my natural regimen

He's fine. We've had to go out more, but no problems.
Little guy sure keeps us on our toes, though. Here are a few pictures of him, if you're curious.

He's a cutie! I'm glad he's OK. We can't have pets where we live now, but we'll be homeowners soon and plan to get a puppy. Can't wait!
