Sooooo I think I might be chopping a little sooner that planned. Neutral I wanted to go about 18-20 months, in hopes that I could at least pull my hair back on bad hair days. (Been having lots of those lately! Smile ) My problem is that I'm starting to have a hard time stoping breakage where my natural & relaxed hair meets. *insert thumbs down lol* Oddly I'm not all that sad about it...I'm kinda excited to go all the way!!! SO, do any of you lovely ladies have any tip on stopping the breakage? Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Tiff

Is your go to style that nice curl in your avi? (is that a rod set, its very pretty) Maybe lower the manipulation? Change products? I transitioned for a while, not as long as I wanted, though. I found that the longer my new growth got, the less my staple relaxed hair products worked, even on the relaxed hair. I had to start favoring the natural growth and the relaxed hair was okay. The breakage died down.

What is your normal haircare routine?

Thanks, the curls in my avi are a flexi rod set. I do those about once a month. I think the biggest reason I'm getting so much breakage is because I bun ALOT and the line of demarcation Happens to be right where my ponytail holder is. Right now I'm co washing with HEHH or Aussie Moist. DCing with Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque, adding in a little honey & EVOO each time. I just starting using Castor Oil to seal and that's be helping me retain moisture more. I'm thinking about getting a weave or some braids to give me and my hair a slight break. I'm just scared I'll hate it since I've never worn either before.
