Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I saw this detangling brush on YT and wanna know if anyone has tried it? It is supposed to help clump curls and decrease the amount of time spent detangling.
here's the link to the yt vid:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpG1esRtrtc
can be purchased at sally's beauty supply.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I was interested in this brush too. Do they have it at Sally's now? When I was searching for it before, Sally's wasn't carrying it. But there is a review on here for the brush. The link is: http://www.curlynikki.forumotion.com/the-curl-street-journal-f14/tangle-teezerlovin-it-t5773.htm?highlight=tangle+teezer
Hope I did that right. If not just search tangle teezer on here and it should come up. Blondie did sort of a review on it.

yeah I saw Blondie's review, but it didn't get much feedback. I was hoping that more ladies had tried it since then. i saw the tangle teezer on Sally's website and it says that it is avail in stores as well.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I bought my tangle teezer about a month ago and I absolutely luv it! Detangling has never been easier. My hair felt nice and smooth after using it and I didn't loose much hair either. Got it at Sally's for 10 dollars. Not trying to bring out any PJism but I just had to pass the word. It's worth a shot. And it you don't like it, you can always return if you get it from Sally's.
If you wanna see it in action check out youtube.

I may have to try this. Although I like my Denman so far. I saw the video that Lexi with the curls did on you tube last night. The video had a lot of views and over 100 likes.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I got one a few weeks ago and I LOVE it!!!! So now when I'm detangling I use my ouidad double detangler and then I alternate between the tangle teezer and a paddle brush.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I have a denman bee-bop (be-bop) that I really like. The teeth are not as close together like the tangle teezers. It says it is a twister, shaping and shampoo brush. I like it to detangle me and Julian's hair.
Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I just want to correct myself. In the description I said this was like the denman, but it is NOTHING like the denman! lol! This thing is 100 times better than the denman. sorry Shredder lovers

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I just bought my TT two weeks ago and got rid of all of my "detangling" combs. The TT cut the detangling process down by 20 minutes. I timed myself. It's wonderful.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I bought a TT this week and plan to use it this later today when I wash my hair. I "tested" it one night when I was detangling to rebraid my hair and the results were definitely promising. I hope it is amazing when my hair is wet and full of conditioner.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I love the tangle teezer! Cuts down on the hair I would consistently lose detangling.
Apparently I wasn't truly detangling my hair before. Now I can comb through my hair with ease.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
Yeah, I'm almost creeped out at how wonderfully the TT works!!! Yesterday was wash day and I proceeded to detangle during my pre poo treatment and it took 15 min on my entire head (mind you I had a twist out with bangin definition prior to starting) which included sectioning, product application, detangling, and twisting and lord knows not only do i have a lot of hair but a big head on top of that so 15 min was amazing! THERE WAS SO LITTLE HAIR WHEN I WAS DONE I COULDNT BELIEVE IT!!! I decided to "re-detangle" in the shower cuz i was sure there had to be more hair shed to come but no matter how many combs i used they all just slipped through, no knots, no tangles... like butta baby I would totally recommend this for every natural... hell anyone who has hair period. Best investment in my natural hair journey thus far. I think if this was added to the "Naturals must buy 'list'" it would cut down on a lot of pjism, and money wasted on all the other random products used to reduce this that and the other when washing, detangling and styling. 100% satisfied

I haven't bought it yet but I found out you can get it on Amazon for a 8.99 + shipping (cheaper than most Sally's and Kinky Curly)

I use on my hair with conditioner in and of course detangle starting from the ends to the roots. A few ladies are having great results detangling with it before washing during their preepoo session with oils. Haven't tried that yet but definitely plan to. At first the TT feels funny in your hand (I know that sounds so wrong lol sorry!) but after a while it feels natural. You will get a better picture of how it works by seeing it in action on youtube.

Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I used this yesterday and I love the tangle teezer! There was no yanking or pulling or that snapping sound you hear when your comb runs across a SSK. This has made detangling so much easier for me. My hair usually coils back around itself even after I've detangled it and this did not happen when using this detangling tool.
Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I got one last week and used in on "dry" and wet hair. On dry hair, I took a section of hair, spritzed and used the TT. Very easy to use. Then twisted for a twist out the next day. This had to be my best Twist out ever!! I will not be using any other tool. On wash day, I used it on wet hair with conditioner in it. Still worked great.

I got one yesterday, used it last night and I LOVE it! Detangling my hair has NEVER been easier! Sorry that I slept on it. Sally has it on sale this week for 9.99. If you have one near you - go cop it!
Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
I tried to "cop it" yesterday. They were all gone :'(--all the curlies must have snatched them up.
Re: Tangle Teezer Anyone?
Copped it yesterday (shout out to Poeticlyspkng)...I love it!
I co-washed and THEN detangled...it slid right through the coils with no problem and minimal hair loss.
A definite staple!
