But, I am sitting here with my mouth open and I'm in shock! This one black girl on here doesn't even date black men because she doesn't want her children to have "nappy" hair. One white lady is on here and she is putting a weave in her six year old's hair and another black woman is putting a relaxer in her 3, yes THREE, year old's hair! It is so sad that these little girls are talking about how they hate their hair and how they think people like them better with straight hair. This makes me have one more reason to be happy that I am transitioning. I will not only be an inspiration to my daughter and nieces, but other little girls who think their natural hair is "bad" hair. I just wish more women (especially of color) would just love and ourselves for who we are and stop trying to look the way society wants us to look or what we think is acceptable. If we accept it, other people won't have a choice but to accept it as well.

OH EM GEE! Iam watching it and I just posted about this as well. I have seen it before and the shock value at the ignorance of these women has not lessened. It makes me very sad that this is how black children are being "programed" to see only straight hair is beautiful.
