...get rid of this stinky burnt hair smell!! grrr!

I just recently got my hair pressed and it has that annoying stinky smell and despite my efforts I can't seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Wow. From my own personal experience, it had to fade on its own. It was an indicator (on my hair, mind you) that my pressing comb was too hot and singed my hair. I would wash and wash, but the smell stayed for about 4 days....I'm not sure if some essential oils added to a homemade spritz would help?

No idea! Do you have any essential oils you like the smell of? Maybe a light coating of one of those?

that sounds like a good idea...using essential oils. I'll have to try that, thanks. I agree that the pressing combs used on my hair probably were too hot. thanks for the advice ladies.
