OMG!!! Flaxseed Gel is the business

I just wanted to let everyone know that they should really try making flaxseed gel.I did and i love it.I've gotten like 4 day hair that could have lasted longer.

I made a batch several years back... liked it, but not sure why I didn't make another batch...

I love it! I'm making it my staple!

How did you use it? Just to smooth down edges? Also, what's your recipe?

my doesnt flake at all! I love it! Im so happy bc its cheaper then kinky curly which made my hair flake!

Thats exactly why i loved it.It was perfect for about a week then when i redid my hair with it when i looked down i saw white stuff fly from my hair. I really wanna fix this.What was your recipe?

Mine was from Naptural on YT.Its was 1/4 cup of flaxseed to 2 cups of water and i used a little more than two tablespoons of Hot six oil.

When using flax seed gel for 2 strand twist should you apply it before or after you use your choice of moisturizer?

If you change the ratio of seeds to water (ie. more seeds/less water) you will get a thicker gel. If you use less seeds/more water then you get a thinner gel. FSG only lasts for about a week, so if you do make it, make small batches so they don't go bad.

The times I have made FSG I used a 1:1 ratio of seeds to water.. i.e. 1 c. seeds, 1 c. water. I like my gel thicker.

i use 2 tablespoons of seed with one cup of water!
