Garnier Fructis has new "pure" hair care line with no slicones and 92% natural ingedients
Just saw the commercial on TVOne. I have never tried the other products, but I might try these. However it didn't say anything about sulfates so I will have to check on that.

I saw them at Walmart. I skipped the shampoo (It does have sulfates) I bought the conditioner and the gel. They have a styling cream that I'm interested in. But I passed on it because it had benzyl alcohol... only to get home and discover that the gel does too. Nonetheless, I'll be trying out the gel on my mom's hair this week. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
Oh and I tried the condish on my hair. It didn't wow me. But it's not bad. It was pretty cheap so no hard feelings.

I love the sleek-n-shine leave-in. It works great watered down in a water bottle and it does not mildew and get funky. It keeps well watered down like a spray on condish. BUT...............I just hit out patient status on the PJ Rehab Board so I a not even going there! lol

I just wanted to report back that after doing some research. I found out that benzyl alcohol is not one of the bad alcohols. It's not a good fatty alcohol (cetyl, stearyl, etc) so that's why I assumed it was. But it's not a drying alcohol like (ethanol, isopropyl, sd, etc) either. It's actually used in formulations as a preservative and should have no effect on the hair...
That being said... I will probably go back and purchase the styling cream as well. Lol.

i was going to come and post i went to walgreens yesterday to pick up my antibiotics and venture in the hair product isle and the whole pure line over all is decent but all product contain alcohool something i personally stay away from alcohol all together because my hair is already navigating towards dryness i don't mess with nothing that will make it worst lol

All alcohols aren't drying. Check out the post.
