Big Chop Planned for Friday!

Okay so after a very emotional wash and detangle session, I said to myself "Self, it is time." So before giving myself time to play that rationalization game that I always play when making big decisions (my hubby sometimes wishes I was more impulsive!) I picked up the phone and made my bc appt for friday. When I first called, I wanted an appt for saturday, but the stylist that I wanted was booked. But I think that was a little divine intervention, because I will be 14 months post on Friday . So wish me luck! I'm sick of transitioning, and plus I reached and exceeded my goal which was to transition for a year. Pics hopefully to come.

Congratulations!! Make sure you come back with pics!! Have you done your "BC" shopping/preparation? New earrings, get your eyebrows shaped, makeup.....well that's what I did. Haha!!

It's funny you say that because right after I made the appt for my bc, I made an appt to get my eyebrows done too! A couple of weeks ago I purchased a eyeshadow palette with a million different colors in it (well actually 180 colors, but same thing right?!). I'm stoked! Now I can't wait till Friday!

Hey ladies!
Well ... I did my big chop Friday (4 March) and I couldn't be happier ... It's almost. I went to bed feeling good about my cut, and woke up feeling GREAT about it. Talk about feeling "freed"! Ahhh!! Now, I get to use all the products I've been hoarding since January (when I decided to transition). I intended to wait until April or May to BC, but I couldn't wait any longer ... that's how I knew it was time. Whatever time you choose will be the best time for you! Go girls!

I know! I'm going to redo my twistout tomorrow and hopefully the results will be cute enough to post as my avatar pic!
