Re: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Summer, it's really slow in the beginning b/c it's giving all the back stories of the characters. It's slow about 80 pages in. However, once you get over that "hump" it's all worth it.
I've read all three books in the series and the other two books are even better.
Loved reading the series.

I saw the movie this weekend and I loved it. A little different than the book but still a good one.

I felt like the movie was missing something, maybe I will try it again. Sometimes reading the book before a movie ruins the movie and vice versa.

The movie left ALOT out. I was able to pinpoint what was missing and they also tweeked certain parts as well. Certain things happened in the movie, that were not in the book.

The movie is a foreign film. They haven't started filming the American version yet.

I read all 3 of them. The other two books aren't hard to get into.

Re: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
I read "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and couldn't put it down after about 50 pages. I didn't like how it seemed to end abuptly, but someone said I needed to read all 3 books. The second book, "The Girl Who Played with Fire" picked up where Dragon Tattoo left off, and I couldn't put it down. I just downloaded the third book, "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest," and can't wait to get started. The books can be read independently, but so much rich history will be lost if the series is not read sequentially. I'

I'm reading it now. I agree that starts off slowly, but about 75 pages in it begins to get interesting.

You know, I was searching for movies on NetFlix the other night and I recall seeing this title. I wonder if the movie was based on the book you are reading. I'll have to check it out. I was under the impression that it was a kung fu movie, so maybe not. Happy Reading!!!

Great book! It's a trilogy! All three are good, although the second one is the BEST (to me)! Enjoy!

I love this trilogy of books! I agree the second book is the best one, at least so far. I only have about 100 pages to go before I finish the final book in the series. I can't wait to see how it will end...great book!
